A blooming brilliant community effort

As Autumn creeps in it's nearly time to pack the town's flower planters away until next year.
The Square has looked incredible all summer long and it's thanks to the wonderful community in Crieff who pulled together to make it happen.
Thanks to the enthusiastic involvement of local schools including Morrison’s Academy, Ardvreck School, St Dominics and Crieff Primary the planters were filled with beautiful blooms lovingly planted by pupils from across the town.

This shared effort is a fantastic example of Crieff’s community spirit in action.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Klondyke Group for donating the plants, and in particular to Managing Director David Yardley for his personal support. We are also deeply grateful to Crieff In Leaf for their ongoing commitment to maintaining the planters, and to Councillor Rhona Brock for her coordination and dedication in bringing the project together.
Special thanks also go to the Crieff Fire Brigade for assisting with the placement of the planters in the Square and Athol Curtis from Perth & Kinross Greenspace for all his assistance during this project.
David Yardley, MD of Klondyke, said:
“The Crieff Food Company were delighted to get involved with Crieff Regen team and the Crieff In Leaf volunteers to help make the town a brighter and cheerier place. With the ownership of the Klondyke Group and their gardening heritage it was a no-brainer to help out with the plants and planters.”
Jamie Landale, on behalf of Crieff Regen, added:
“This initiative is a perfect example of what can happen when the community comes together – schools, volunteers, local businesses, and public services all playing a part. It’s about pride in our town, and we hope the planters bring a smile to locals and visitors alike this summer.”
Crieff Regen continues to champion projects that enhance the town and strengthen connections within the community. The success of the planter initiative shows just how much can be achieved when we work together.
We look forward to next year's blooming awesome display!
