CRIEFF CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL
Crieff does Christmas with all the trimmings!
The Crieff Christmas Festival is our town’s annual winter wonderland, celebrating the warmth and magic of the festive season in the heart of Strathearn. Every December, James Square is transformed with twinkling lights, artisan markets, and seasonal music. Most importantly? We are home to Scotland’s only Santa’s Post Office, because apparently, the Big Guy knows exactly where the best mail service is!

THE FESTIVAL'S STORY
The Crieff Christmas Festival is the town’s gift to itself - and to everyone who visits.
It started as a way to bring people into Crieff at Christmas, to give the high street a moment to shine, and to show that a town this size, with independent businesses this good, doesn’t need a shopping centre to do the season justice. What it’s become is something the whole community looks forward to: the lights going on in James Square, familiar faces, new discoveries, and the particular feeling that only happens once a year when a town you love looks exactly as it should.

FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
The Big Light Switch-On
The moment Crieff officially becomes Christmas. James Square lit up, a market in the heart of town, and the kind of evening people come back for year after year.
Santa’s Post Office
Scotland’s only Santa’s Post Office. Letters written, posted and handled with the care they deserve.
Late Night Shopping
The high street stays open late. Independent shops, no queues, people who know what they’re selling. This is what Christmas shopping is supposed to feel like.
The Sugar Mouse Hunt
Gordon & Durward’s famous sugar mice hidden in shop windows across town. Find them, enter the draw, win vouchers to spend on the high street. Free, fun, and very Crieff.
