Experience Crieff: Our Flagship Festivals
The Experience Crieff team is proud to lead on four major festivals this year, each celebrating a different side of our character:
☀️ August: The Crieff Summer Festival - Family fun, local music, and the best of the Scottish summer.
🎬 August: The Crieff Film Festival - Must-see movies and storytelling in the heart of the town.
🍷 October: The Crieff Food & Drink Festival - A full week dedicated to the incredible agricultural community, makers, producers, chefs, baristas and cocktail makers of the Strathearn valley.
🎄 December: The Crieff Christmas Festival - Magic, Santa's Post Office, markets, and Highland hospitality to end the year.
Adventure & Tradition: Highlights Across the Valley
Beyond our flagship events, the wider area is buzzing with energy. From high-octane mountain biking to century-old traditions, make sure these are on your radar:
🐾 May: Bark in the Park - A favourite for our four-legged residents (and their humans!), celebrating Crieff's dog-friendly spirit.
🥾May: Drovers Tryst Walking Festival - A volunteer-led walking festival celebrating our history as Scotland’s cattle-droving crossroads. Guided walks for all levels through stunning spring scenery.
🚴 Adventure Events: For those who like life on two wheels, keep an eye out for the Clans @ The Croft Enduro and other adrenaline-fuelled races that make use of our world-class trails.
🎪 Late July: Comrie Fortnight - Two weeks of community fun, floats, and festivities in our neighbouring village. A true highlight of the summer calendar.
🎨 August: Crieff Arts Festival - A celebration of the incredible makers and creators who call this area home.
🥁 August: Crieff Highland Gathering - One of Scotland’s most iconic traditional events. Piping, heavy events, and highland dancing on a world-class stage.
🧩 November: Scotland’s Only Jigsaw Festival - A truly unique Crieff tradition! A must-visit for anyone who loves a peaceful, puzzling afternoon.
