Celebrating Crieff & Strathearn: The Crieff Food & Drink Festival is Here!

Something incredible has been simmering in Strathearn, and this autumn, we are finally taking the lid off.

Crieff has always been a heavyweight in Scottish food culture. We live four minutes from a two-Michelin-starred restaurant at The Glenturret Lalique, three miles from a Michelin-recommended coaching inn at The Coorie Inn, and right on a High Street lined with 7th-generation master bakers, artisan confectioners, and passionate local merchants.

From Saturday 10th October to Sunday 18th October 2026, the Crieff Food & Drink Festival (proudly presented by headline sponsor The Crieff Food Co. and supported by Perth & Kinross Council) brings all of that world-class flavour together for a nine-day town takeover.

Kick Off: The Scottish Artisan Food & Drink Market

We launch with a massive day of browsing, tasting, and feasting on Saturday 10th October (10am–4pm) at The Steading Courtyard. Free to enter and featuring live music throughout the day, the market brings together around 30 of Scotland's top producers:

  • Artisan Food & Bakery: Fresh bread and cheeses from The Crieff Food Co., cured meats from East Coast Cured, charcuterie and deli hits from Ballintaggart, plus sweet treats from Starfish Cakes & Bakes, The Little Whisk Bakery, Sweetly Made, Casa Di Gelato, and The Very Good Baking Company.

  • Savoury Hits & Street Food: Hot Punjabi street food from The Tiffin, Indian bites from Tikka Box, fresh cuts from Gourlay Butcher, cold-pressed oils from Summer Harvest, small-batch butter from Wee Knob of Butter, plus local condiments from Perthshire Preserves, Braw Sauces, and Allan's Chilli Products.

  • Craft Drinks & Spirits: Pouring all day with 1881 Gin, Blair Atholl Distillery, Inchaffray Whisky, wild liqueurs from Buck & Birch, botanical spirits from Highland Boundary, fruit wines from Cairn O Mhor, ready-to-sip cocktails from Molvino, and craft brews from SLOPEmeister.

  • Coffee, Tea & Family Fun: Hot drinks from Little Birdie Coffee and Wander Cuppa, face painting by local favourite Imagine This & That all day for younger visitors, plus an interactive stand with RSPB.

Mid-Week Highlights & Masterclasses

The festival continues through the week with hands-on workshops, tasting sessions, and dining events for every age and appetite:

Plus, look out for special festival additions from high-street favourites Delivino and Pig in the Bank!

The Grand Finale in James Square

We wrap up nine days of culinary celebration on Sunday 18th October in James Square for a lively finale gathering! The heart of town will come alive with live entertainment, a delicious hog roast, and the highly anticipated festival baking competition. Open to both adults and young people, local bakers will battle it out for top honours, with entries judged by former 5-star hotel pastry chef Emily from Ems & Co. Bring your appetite, cheer on the town’s best bakers, and help us close out the inaugural festival in style!
