Live Music in Crieff

EXPERIENCE OUR EVENTS

Crieff knows how to throw a good party - whether it’s piping in the crowds at the Highland Gathering, rolling out the red carpet for the Film Festival, serving up flavour at the Food Festival, or lighting up the town for the Christmas Festival. Our events are full of heart, full of character, and always worth showing up for. Come for the celebration, stay for the stories - this is Crieff at its best.

Crieff Highland Gathering

AUGUST - Following the epic success of last year’s event, which saw Market Park packed with locals and visitors from across the globe, the Crieff Highland Gathering continues to be the definitive highlight of our summer. It is a day where the town’s history and community spirit take centre stage, bringing together world-class heavyweight athletes, champion pipers, and highland dancers in a spectacular display of skill and grit.

AUGUST - The Crieff Summer Festival brings James Square to life with a vibrant mix of live music, artisan markets, and free family fun. It's a true Summer celebration that fills the heart of our town with music entertainment, activities and culture, building the excitement in the lead-up to the Highland Gathering. Whether you are there for the local bands or the market stalls, it is the perfect way to experience the best of a Crieff summer.

Crieff Food & Drink Festival

OCTOBER - Get ready to savour the best of Strathearn as the Crieff Food & Drink Festival returns to the calendar. This town-wide celebration is a feast for the senses, showcasing everything from world-class local produce and artisan treats to live cooking demos and tastings. It is about more than just a good meal; it is a chance to meet the makers, sharpen your own skills in a workshop, and soak up the atmosphere of a community that truly knows its food.

DECEMBER - Christmas in Crieff is a bit of a local legend, especially with Scotland’s only Santa’s Post Office right at the heart of the festivities. Between the light switch-on in James Square and the 25-year tradition of the Great Sugar Mouse Hunt, the town really knows how to lean into the season. It is the perfect time for a bit of late-night shopping under the twinkling lights and soaking up the winter magic that makes our corner of Perthshire so special.
